The science simply won't work at current times, especially in Australia. Calculate how many additional antennaes and towers that would need to be newly installed along with fiber backhaul to connect them. The science aka the fundamentals just don't add up, as simple as that and thus 5G won't be ubiquitous for AT LEAST 10-15 years. What we would have instead would be an improved version of LTE and carriers will call it 5G.

In essence, 5G is all hype at the moment.
