I thought Hematite was the only ore that had FE grades that high...

I thought Hematite was the only ore that had FE grades that high straight out of the ground. So by that reckoning, the ore must be refined to some degree.

I just checked with our mine Geo's.

He said that it is POSSIBLE to have grades that high.. but Very very unlikely for an ore body that size.

Having said that, I didn't really put it to him in context, I'd hate for them to think I'm talking sh!t here rather that shovelling it outside ;)
