The problem with AYS is that is used to provide good value BYO sim plans. Now all it does is lag behind every other provider in terms of better plans. AYS has only just started to off 8GB for $50/mo whereas virgin now offers 12GB for $50/mo. The edge the AYS had when the first offered their 5GB plans has been lost and hence their ability to attract new customers.
