The production information from the Jumonville 1 and 2 wells has been difficult to get on the SONRIS web site.

At one stage there was no information supplied by GGP on production from Jumonville 2 well after actual production began late June.

Now there is always a few months delay between actual production and the figures coming through and being posted on the SONRIS site but GGP was well behind the usual pattern.

Then when it finally did start providing data it supplied it as a combined production figure.
So if you looked at well 237282 (J#1) and the production info there and then went to have a look at the data on well 238920 (J#2) then you found the exact same set of production figures

So there was no way of telling what J#1 was producing compared to J#2.

Now when I have looked today I find that has been rectified in a sense because although there is identical information on both well pages the info has been separated out so that you now get two sets of info for a month.

I'll explain that in a moment.

The other thing to be aware of is that the data is supplied a few months after collection. The chart is also set up so that the month is identified by the first of the month.
So 08/01/2009 means the First of August 2009 to indicate that the info that follows is for the month of August.

So if we take the last set of info recorded it is for the month of August.
    Now the entry reading
08/01/2009 and which has these figures in it :
1867 3772 5346 5093 546 IBERVILLE indicates that the opening stock for this well was 1,867 barrels, oil production during August amounted to 3,772 barrels ; gas production during Auigust amounted to 5,346 mcf. Of the oil tally (open. stock + prod.)then 5,093 barrels were sold and 546 barrels remain. The well is in the Iberville parish.

The reading just above that that reads :
    719 17999 6943 16912 1806 ASCENSION
obviously means that this well started August with an opening stock of 719 barrels of oil, There were then 17,999 barrels of oil produced during August and 6,943 mcf of gas. There were then 16,912 barrels of oil sold which left a stock of 1,806 barrels to carry into the next month.
This well is in the Ascension parish.

Now no prizes for guessing which well is which !

Yes so Jumonville #1 is the low producer in the Iberville parish and
Jumonville #2 is the bigger producer in the Ascension parish

So during August at least J #2 produced at about a rate of 580 bopd. That would be about a minimal drop from its previously reported 600 bopd

J #1 on the other hand, based on those August production figures is down to about 121 bopd which is well down on its previously indicated rate of about just under 200 bopd.

And remember that is August production data. We are now nearly two and a half months down the track from that.

Combined production for August from J#1 and J#2 is obviously 21,771 barrels or about 702 bopd.

So yes they need another development well which is well above the water line and capable of boosting production by another 600 to 700 bopd.
