And what happened to the computers for every child? We live in a high tech world.
Just throwing more money at schools doesn't mean a better education.
Many of my generation were well educated in the state system without all this extra money.
All kids need are good quality teachers and a good curriculum. One of my grandkids is in grade one - has been fortunate to be in a school where there is a big enphasis on reading plus great teachers in both prep and now grade one and this child is reading amazingly well.
What will all this extra money coughed up by taxpayers actually achieve???
