Senoj,
Your information revealed good staff have left and what is left in Biota is a higher proportion of parasites feeding on shareholders fund.
Item 3 on the meeting agenda must be the icing in the cake for some – reward Peter Cook with 976,300 of free options for his sterling performance. After all it is Peter Molloy who launched the GSK case and if not for the $35 million legal costs, Peter Cook would have brought BTA shareholders a profit in the 2007/2008 accounts.
Obviously Peter Cook hope all Biota shareholders are idiots and will conveniently forgot Peter Cook refused to accept the 2006 $100 million settlement with costs. GSK offered to settle for $75 million with costs in 2007 contrary to Peter Cook’s statement that the last offer was in 2006 and the genius Peter Cook settled for $20 million.
Now we can all understand why the share price of OEC (Orbital Engine) was trading at about $0.70 at the time Peter Cook joined the company as its CEO and plunged to $0.10 at the time Peter Cook lost his post. And to Biota shareholders delight Peter Cook found his niche in Biota.
