Understand your frustration Disco....that's the risk with shares and the volitilty of the stock market. You have to have nerves of steel. A couple of my mining stocks are down up to 50% and I won't even go there with how some oil and gas companies are performing atm.

My brother has shares in a rare earths mining co, which is down 75%. Imo investors are probably getting out of BLY while commodities are down and moving their $$ to safer havens.

If you don't like losing sleep at night, term deposits are the way to go.

We just have to wait for the market to improve, how long that will be I would say depends largely on positive/negative reporting news coming out of the States over the next couple of weeks and Greece either getting its act together or going down the gurler.
