The low risk assessed wells are relatively cheap to drill and the projects of immediate interest are either a 50/50 split or almost free carried in the case of buna... plus there is already the co2 discovery under their belt. Consolidation before a material gas discovery in this climate is probably not the smartest move IF... LKO are confident of permit approvals and a higher share price on a discovery... which they often mention.
