Portman declined a deal with my company on highly prospective ground adjoining J4 and Musca- Bungalbin etc have a bunfight with Polaris over J4 where they have outlined substantial resources and yet they peg every inch of ground from the south of Lake Deborah -(including FMG over the WA Salt mine )- and north of our ground at Lake Deborah along the interpreted magnetic feature from Koolyanobbing to Jackson. With the proposed Mt Manning A Class Nature Reserve poised to sterilise all our aspirations in the region -including most of the good POL ground - TRH ground and Jackson and Windarling extensions little wonder Portman are not too enthused -but if the Govt overides the EPA on what is potentially a billion tonnes of iron ore then the fun begins -and someone will be paying a lot more than the present price for ground holdings in this region.
