Most magnetite operations are only viable at today's Fe prices, if price falls too low haematite again becomes the only source of Fe that can be mined economically.
Therefore magnetite will only be produced when prices are high, so there should will not be an oversupply of magnetite unless the demand is there to maintain the Fe price.
