I agree that it was quite wrong for the Board of Directors to give $2 million to such a contentious political cause without donating a similar amount to the No Voice supporters. That is what is frequently done with corporate donations to political parties. I have been a shareholder for 30 years and with a heavy heart, like someone said above, I sold half my shares last week at $50 a pop. The Board's decision will have alienated at least half of its Western Australian shareholders (see the recent polls) and its customers and suppliers. Not good for business. The Voice is undemocratic, racist, unnecessary, very expensive and will slow down executive government very seriously. Development approvals will be held to ransom by the prospect of even more bureaucratic delays. I totally support Constitutional recognition for indigenous people but not this sinister Voice. It is a grab for power and money, lots more of it. Sadly the ones who need help will not get a look in.
