bunnings food warehouse ?

    I have held Coles and then WES, for a number of years and it really makes me wonder why WES bought Coles at all.

    From a very naive perspective, why not just build double stories on all the Bunnings Hardware Warehouses, and then have a Bunnings Food Warehouse in the same complex.

    I'm sure it would have been considerably less than $18 Billion dollars, and it also could have been done on a trial basis just like the move from Hardware stores to Warehouses about 8 - 10 years ago.

    I don't think the majority of people would care if there is concrete or carpet on the floor, as long as the product range was competitive and the parking was easy.


    Oh yeah, Also Great for us guys, we can go and look at the toys whilst the Missus does the groceries, or when asked why we were late home after work, we can handover a liter of milk, LOL.
