Yes.....people are so SICK of the Build up leading to Christmas and the event....that they do not appreciate it or enjoy it or really look forward to the event any more...
Same with selling the Hot Cross buns..... ( even though their soft fluffy ones with sultanas are nice any time with butter )
Easter is just a another calander day and has no special meaning when easter eggs start being sold in February and Hot cross buns all year...
Buy.....comsume.....die....that is society these days....
