Ben, I suggest you email Bunnings and comment on their limited hinge range. I personally am very happy with my Kaboodle kitchen including hinges, but then I watch the $'s more than most. If you want premium hinges then you obviously should go to specialist kitchen outfit.
I agree that the UK probably focuses more on interior, having grim weather, but typically I have just seen rickety old fittings. Probably a measure of the company I keep more than anything else.
I see Intelligent Investor has WES as a buy at $38, nearly there.
