I hope people don't think we are harping on about torches - but, if you live in the country - they are a very important part of life. For security, for inconvenience, for the inevitable blackouts, for god knows what in the middle of the night.
this is my old one - so old, I doubt if they are sold any more and the new tech. is probably way advanced.
I have no idea if they are as tough as the Surefires - but, this one has survived rain, snow, ice, water, drops, bush and being carried and held in the same hand as a gun when fired many times over years now - and still works like new.
It was over $200 bucks when I bought it - and I thought, wow - that's a lot for a torch - but, once you use a really great torch - it's hard to ever go back.
