At least four boats have been intercepted by Australian maritime border protection authorities in WA's far north, the ABC understands.
Pictures provided to the ABC show the wooden boats both in the mangroves and Kuri Bay, about 370 kilometres north east of Broome.
They were all intercepted within the past 24 hours, a local tour operator and traditional owner claims.
