Of course a stolen generation option is a reaction to a problem rather than dealing with the problem in the first place.
That's why the conversation needs to be started. It needs to cover all aspects incuding the indigenous community stepping up or explaining why they can't.
A conversation in a respectful fashion, not a finger pointing one like we are seeing in this forum from the usual bigots.
