Albo didn’t even read the document, but told everyone he was going to implement it in full. The guy is either an idiot or a liar. It’s this lack of trust and detail that bought down the voice. It was badly handled.
Perhaps the govt can now get on and do its job. Find out the true problems, fix the exisiting issues, audit the system, get rid of the corruption, streamline the process so more money and resources gets on the ground. I think Jacinta needs to keep going after the govt to make them more accountable. Rather than creating a whole new level of cost and politics, fix the current mess instead. Albo, get your sh$t together mate or you can cut lawns around Parliament House.

Great post. Not sure how we got here but:

- Progressive yes voters had a week off to recover from a NO vote (does this mean you don't get a week off if you say you voted no?)
- The better educated, richer, uber-left inner city types who voted yes but live nowhere near aborigines are now the victims (of...?)
- Voters who live closest to aboriginal communities are being called racist
- Jacinta Price and Warren Mundine are being called racist
- The yes voters, who wanted to introduce apartheid into the constitution, are somehow not racist
- The number one proponent of the voice, the PM, who would have considered this a legacy achievement of his time in office, didn't even read the document (26 pages, it's not super long)
