For real ?? Back in the day, shows were hosted at communes in Oregon, California. 1, 2 , or 3 days , sometimes longer. Entrance fee was somewhere to put a handful of bud everyone got upon walking thru the gate Bands usually from the likes of Jefferson Airplane , Big Brother, Steve miller band , maybe Jimi, or Janis etc etc etc.
Most girls got around topless , no one went hungry or thirsty Some of these shows were arranged to keep people off the streets during planned rallies against the Vietnam war and were subsidised . Woodstock is the well known one , they were much better when they went west.
