Hi hotcopper42 hope you are well.
Just a few points IMO these class actions cost the lawyers a lot of time and money to set up. They don't take them on unless they are fairly certain of winning. The loan contract would have been quite simple and if it had been ambiguous that would have been challenged at the time - There has never been any argument about whether the loan was long term or short term. It was designated short term and misrepresented by both ozl and the auditors - I have a strong feeling it will be settled out of court.
