yes, I concur, there are many many things we can point to about govt incompetence, but are we not the govt? I couldn't agree more about the frivolous waste of money on submarines, which will of course be out of date on their commissioning. Democracy needs to be looked at, we need decisions made not on ideology but on evidenced based information. if a country was run like a competent business, look at the Future Fund and the RBA, two excellent examples on something benefiting the country that cannot be tainted by ideology. if only we could have more of that
