No, not 'over-analysing', and mostly agree with you. You only need to look at our banks since the AUD started to slide as a clear indication that the carry trade's reversing towards USDs. If you're accumulating, then any extra selling due to foreigners reversing a trade on mass becomes an opportunity in certain USD denominated assets?
