The fact that you are still debating Vitnam..should we/should we not have bombed hanoi..only reinforces what others have bben saying. The US should have never been in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh was fighting colonialism not capitalism. If the US had given him a few $$$ it could have been a whole new ball game. Instead they made all the wrong decisions - and repeated them, without learning.
