In my opinion,
We all make lifestyle choices,
I love the beach, but I chose the edge of the forest on the scarp,
I love the Bush, and chose the fresh air,
I love the middle of nowhere so I bought a farm in the middle of nowhere,
I love being free so I chose to be free,
Risk is risk and it's everywhere around us, some of us assess the risk, manage the risk and appreciate the risk,
If my house burns down tomorrow, stiff shit, that's why I have insurance through the RAC,
I didnt want to respond to the first post because I don't like the attitude of the poster, in my opinion he/she/it/ thing is being totally unfair in a situation that everyone would never like to be in,
Maybe the poster who started this thread could get of their ass and keyboard and go give some Aussies a helping hand that got dealt a hard blow in life, just like a mate would in a time of need,
Its shocking the way some people think about others in life who are dealt a blow,
It disappoints me, it hurts me and breaks my heart to see what other people go through,
