Bush is obviously looking for scapegoats for a war he started and a war which is failing to achieve its objectives. So, why do Iraqi soldiers flee when things get hot? Firstly, they are ordinary people who join up to earn money so that they can feed their families. Afterall, the country is in a complete mess, thanks to Bush's war so what other jobs are there available to these ordinary Iraqi's? Bush failed to mention the 5000 odd american troops who have deserted.
Secondly, when their identity becomes known their families are targeted by insurgents which adds further to their fears.
Nah, Bush and his cronies made the biggest mistake going to war with Iraq. In addition, he ignored the advice of his generals that's why the country is in such a mess.
