So you are merely disputing the greenhouse effect as a cause of global warming?

It's irrefutable that overall, the Earth is warming. Even if that means some places may get colder (like parts of Europe).

But still the poles are melting, so global warming is happening.

Whether it's greenhouse that's the major reason, that is not the point. All the burning of fossil fuels, burning of forests, consumption of energy - these all add to warming.
