bush slammed at oscars

Documentary maker Michael Moore used the stage at the Academy Awards this afternoon to condemn US President George W. Bush over the war against Iraq.

Winning the Best Documentary Feature award for his anti-gun film Bowling for Columbine, Moore appeared on stage backed by other nominees in the category.

Referring to his colleagues as people who preferred fact to fiction, Moore described Bush as a "fictitious president" who had won a "fictitious election".

"We are against this war Mr Bush," said Moore.

"Shame on you on Mr Bush," Moore concluded as the music came up, and began to drown him out.


Bush the worlds most hated man. The only place left for him is a deep hole.
