of course I agree they be neutralised... my gripe is the way Howard has almost dared the terrorists to come and get us.... "first strike" statement against SE asian countries; follow Yanks to Iraq without first waiting for UN resolution(even Canada told Bush it's not on before UN Mandate)..... we pay these politicians to be diplomatically astute in Australia's dealings of this nature.... I mean harry Hedgehog from you're local pub full of pi** could do it the way FW howard has done it!! Brian Deegan who's son was killed in Bali puts it very well......"when making commitments on policy and defence the PM & co. dont have to do it in a way that they are breastbeating etc"....
