Yep the blame actually lies at the feet of the pandering to the greenie government departments...when living in the bush fire risk can be well mitigated....but the government will abuse those that attempt it...legal abuse obviously but abuse none the less.
Gotta love how governments are the 'untouchables' here in Australia, unless the deaths are directly (skin on skin etc)at the hands of an employee....anything less we are today so sophisticated we consider it but low worth collateral damage in any review....business as usual, nothing to see here.
