Yep the blame actually lies at the feet of the pandering to the greenie government departments...when living in the bush fire risk can be well mitigated....but the government will abuse those that attempt it...legal abuse obviously but abuse none the less.
The utility companies...SP Ausnet.. should maintain the system. Not doing so puts at risk all people who work/live in the bush.
The average punter shouldn't foot the bill for their lack of maintenance.
