Fire Problems are partially caused by doppy councils, state govts, greenies, activists and possibly the National parks mob. Most of these are govt related bodies who get in the way of dealing with the problem. When everything goes pear shaped, they blame climate change. Nice work if you can get it. Most of the press spread fear and others just lap it up. If we took the fear out of this and actually got intelligent people to work out proper plans, it would be useful for a change. A lot of these institutions have been filled up with people who are not across problems and are not accountable.
