Unless something unexpected happens, I would expect somewhere between 4200 and 4800 to be hit over the next 12-18 months. Either the area around 4800 will hold, or it will be towards the lower level. If it doesn't get there, no biggie. I'm not relying on it to get there. Just have 3-4 different types of analysis pointing to those areas tis all.
Can't see people wanting to be in stocks with margin loans out to 10%, and negative index results expected, with dividends paying below cash rate and inflation rate. So why be long in stocks when you can get a guaranteed ~7.5%?
Different story of course if you have access to other methods.
