    You don't need any articles to confirm that belief of yours. You have been convinced of that for a very long time. It might be true that you read the article, but because of your preconceived belief, you didn't learn anything new.

    If anything, the article shows that it is the right move that Telstra doesn't rush in throwing money into NFC.

    The revealing paragraphs in the article are:

    "MasterCard’s head of market development, Matthew Barr, also shared this view, telling delegates at the conference that payments alone would not drive NFC adoption.

    “We don’t believe that payments on its own are sufficient to give NFC to work,” he said.

    That means NFC will not be profitable if it is just for payments. And I have said many times that if it is profitable now (as in now) Telstra would have jumped on it!

    The article also confirms what I have said to you; that Telstra knows much more about NFC than you do, and that Telstra works on it. So if you are still not happy with the board, then do the right thing: nominate yourself for election and speak up in the next AGM!
