I came across a "background" of Frank Carr here. Thought it might be of interest. I've altered the "paragraphy" to (hopefully) make it easier to read . If someone has previously posted his bio, please pardon the repetition.

It made me realise afresh the size of the shoes that his replacement at Carrick must try to fill.

Frank Carr, MBA, M.Phil., FAIM, FIoD, FInstD, BSc, M.Teach., was the Founder of Carrick Gold Ltd. and served as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Carr served as Company Secretary of Condor Nickel Ltd. since March 19, 2010.

Mr. Carr served as Company Secretary of Telezon Ltd. until June 2010.

Mr. Carr directed many successful initial public offerings and stock exchange listings in Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Mr. Carr co-founded Miniskips Limited and served [as] its Managing Director from May 1985 to December 1986.

Mr. Carr was responsible for the Australian Stock Exchange.

He served as Chief Executive Officer of Southern Group Limited (formerly Ampersand International Limited) from August 1995 to May 2000 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until 1993.

He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Voicenet Inc. since 1996. He worked at Voicenet (Aust) Ltd. (formerly Southern Group Limited) until May 2000.

He had extensive experience in corporate advisory and business recovery activities.

Mr. Carr served as Chairman of the Board of Shannon Resources Limited.

He served as Executive Chairman of Carrick Gold Ltd. until June 2010.

He served as Executive Chairman and Director of Condor Nickel Ltd. until 2010.

Mr. Carr served as Executive Chairman and Executive Director of Telezon Ltd. until June 2010.

He served as the Chairman of Voicenet Inc.

He served as Director of Shannon Resources Limited since February 10, 2006.

He served as a Director at Carrick Gold Ltd. since May 2010 and also served as its Executive Director.

He served as a Director for over thirty years and had extensive experience in management, corporate advisory and business recovery activities.

He served as a Director of Voicenet Inc. since 1996. He served as a Director of VNI until October 2000.

He was a recipient of the Australian Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Mr. Carr held a Graduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor of science & Master's degree in teaching from Queensland university of technology and Bachelor of science from Murdoch University & Diploma in education from Notre Dame University.

Mr. Carr passed away in 2010.
