this is incorrect. They have a company store division headed by the previous GM of DK. they have opened a few company owned DK stores, a GJ d/t store in cairns to name a few.
the division also takes over some stores set to close when franchisees don’t wish to renew but the company sees them as viable to maintain store numbers
