I am sick of small/ medium business owners having a whinge about how tough things are. Let's understand the first rule of small business. It is one for the till and one for the pocket, keep the one for the pocket secret and complain about poor cashflow through the till. Then the son wants a new pc and the wife wants a new car. That's no problem says the small/medium business owner. We will charge it all to the company. Freebies from the small business. Stuff the taxman just fill the owner's pockets and whinge.
The business is likely under resourced and poorly equiped but the owners home and chattels are pretty damn good. And the taxman, and fellow Australians are screwed.
Get a tradesman to come to your property. The first question is not "what is wrong and what is needed". The first question is "can you pay cash, no gst wink wink"!
