It happened to me on the ASX when trying to reach a goal, so guaranteed on the LSE.
Sure, there were a few shares at a great price, but too few to make up my numbers.
I had to pay significantly more than the current on offer just to get to 150 000.
That's been awhile ago now, so don't feel too sorry for me as I topped up at <AUD1.00 average for an overall of $0.48.
