I respect your knowledge of UMC and most of your postings.
Please get your facts right before you condemn me for not getting it right.

(1)I have shares in UMC and BRM so do not favour one over the other.

(2)UMC high grade is 76.13 Mt at 60.2%Fe
BRM detritals after beneficiation will be 900 Mt at 60%Fe
UMC average Total resource including the 76.13Mt is 58.3%Fe.
BRM 70Mt tonnes at 58%Fe.

(3)I did not call it DSO.

(4)How do you call 60.2%Fe Rolls Royce iron ore?
Low in contaminates,yes.Not Rolls Royce when others have higher grades,up to 69%Fe.Even an average of 61-2-3-4 is higher.So what type of car are they.

(5)I am going to call the Business Spectator to ask which post they took it from.If it was my post I will be asking them to print it in full what was said not what they wanted to post.

I based it on the fact that my post was the one that brought up the point of having similar types of iron ore,and I spoke about the location of both being close.

This all started because some one posted.And I quote.

Please have compassion and contact the RSPCA regarding BRM.

(6)I said they both had CID and both had detritals.Which they do.
I did not mention Marra Mamba or compare UMC Marra Mamba with what BRM have apart from speaking about UMC high grade being about 2%Fe higher than BRM's.

I believe UMC have 4 types of iron ore and BRM 3.
UMC have Marra Mamba,Detritals,Pisolite and CID.
BRM CID,Detritals and Pisolite.

Because BRM have,as you call it sunny datsun iron ore,are you saying that they can not make a profit?
I think you should be looking at expected profit expected per year from the resources they both have at present and compare.
Also compare cost of drilling,blasting and clearing rubbish sitting over the iron ore down to the depth of the ore.
State Tax on DSO about $7.50 per tonne - State tax on Beneficiated ore around $4 per tonne.The difference is more than the cost of beneficiating the detritals.
