Busy end to 2016 for CWE? Let's hope.....

So I have seen a few posters stating that they have lost patience with Carnegie and are looking at selling their holdings. I agree with their frustrations but not so much with the action they are taking. We are coming into a potentially critical time for the company and I went back through their announcements to try and come up with a pipeline of future announcements that may significantly re-rate share price. Of course, I encourage all to DYOR.
The company stated in relation to the “Cornwell Wave hub” that European Funding Application should be decided in Q3 of 2016. As we are literally in the last few weeks of the third quarter an announcement must be imminent. Cornwell is expected to begin construction in 2018.
The construction of Garden Island Micro-grid has consistently been targeted to begin in 2016. With four months remaining, a raft of announcements should be forthcoming:

1. The detailed design was initially targeted for completing in mid-2016. It would seem that date has passed and I noticed a slight change by the company to later this year. This would have to be soon if they are meeting the target of construction in 2016 and commissioning in 2017.
2. There should be results from the wave testing at University of Plymouth COAST facility. This began late April 2016.
3. 15^th April the company announced the project with the University of WA. They stated at that time that detail agreement for the project is expected to be finalised and signed in the coming months. Given we are five months down the track this must be close to being signed but would have little material effect of SP.
4. From 25^th July 2014 the three-year control systems project worth 1.8m was begun. This is under 12 months from completion but if the other milestones (garden island deployment) are to be met I would suggest that results would need to be brought forward

In terms of Mauritius, Feb 11 2016 announcement the company stated that 3 outcomes were to be delivered in 2016. Given we are almost in the last quarter the following should be announced soon:

1. Renewable energy roadmap
2. Assessment of wave energy resource (1^st of July wave buoy was deployed supposedly for six months)
3. Design of micro-grid

So in the last four and a half months of 2016 there are some pretty big announcements that the company needs to deliver on. I would suggest that we should be hearing of contracts being signed in addition to those already mentioned. I hope CWE is a company that will deliver on its promises if it does then we may finally see SP rise (IMO).
