I think most bots are used passively to average out buys/sells. But even where bot activity tries to influence the market, it needs the right "environment" (just as bacteria thrive in some environments, suffer in others).

An ideal share environment for bots to nudge the share price down is one in which the company lacks meaningful news or milestone achievements. Even sophisticated bot trading can't fight against "catalyst" events. Bots seems to be able to nudge prices lower or higher when the company is wandering due to lack of significant developments.

So, NEN basically needs to show meaningful progress. That will likely kill off bots that attempt to nudge the share price down.
