How much of his time do you reckon we might have been getting??
Reading the above it seems clear that a lot of faith would have been placed in JW to drive the company forward. MB has always had the same 24 hours in a day that we do, so there's no way he could give us much of it. That's OK if he keeps a finger on the pulse, but even that seems to have not occurred.
I reckon we have had a good figure head but have had an incapable CEO and management team.
We have certainly paid out handsomely for senior management. MB was always going to be just the face, and for that we needed to pay, but his being surrounded by incompetence was always going to bring us 'ZIP'.
How inspiring has JW been in his tenure? Not even worth a comment as far as I'm concerned; and we won't mention the other hangers on !!
The company IMO, has made lots of progress since the change of the board, and someone will eventually realise that. Trouble is that after another debacle, we don't know if it will be the stock market, the market in which our products are floundering, or someone who sees the opportunity of picking up a potential winner for peanuts.
Regardless, the company desperately requires perhaps not a new figurehead, but certainly people with industry experience, and an associated track record to get the company out of reverse gear.
For three years we have been managed by a bunch of cowboys . . . time for a change . . time to get serious, if it's not too late.
BTW, MB is in no position IMO to take on the role of CEO . . . he would need to find at least another 12 hours in his current 24 hour day.
