I think Myer have the base Platform to be massive, I think the hold back is just that the management probably know that to re-shape this into something that is cashing in on big margin items getting sold its going to take a massive re-work to the Business Plan and also some investment.
But with Current management and building its restructure with its earnings its a lapdog looking for a Strong takeover player or merger.
Either way the future is that MYR will still have the doors open doing business but in a different way to atrract more Cashflow and profits from a wider Pie.
That may include cars, boats, travel, and also the accessories you need for your fishing trip camping holiday, world trip. They could do alot of things better to cash in. But currently are a bit small minded.
They havnt tapped the campers, Holidayers, Tourists, Home reno doers, Car enthusiasts, Celebrity lovers, Music Fans etc etc. MYR right now dosnt understand how to milk pockets as well as they could.
IMO the Growth wont be online so much, it will be in store and making that the place to be, to hang out and get in the Vibe etc. making the In store experience the place everyone wants to attend with some kind of attraction.
Then also keep the items un-stealable so they have less thieves and more Payers buying items.
IMO the In store experience could be ramped up from Boring to Entertaining, to the point people are happy to buy items to be allowed to visit unlimited.
Mabe thats discounted coffee for Myer product buyers etc, theres 1000 ways to improve.
Just the Store footprint and Front makes MYR worth over $1.20 a share IMO.
With a more Hyped store enviornment it would boost the salesand send MYR back over $4-
But that will take a different management model,
Within 10 years MYR could be about an $8- stock if managed correctly.
