A better way to look at it is what would be the return on initial investment for the best possible chance of success ie pillar 3. historical trials and a successful modern trial.
3 trials that will be modelled after the initial one, which will be starting in half a year, as well as a P2 trial sometime in the very near future (stupid lawyers).
if you can determine what you believe the buyout for a high chance of success is, and you've applied a NPV, and it is still multiples on your initial investment then it consider it a solid investment that you could still invest more than other stocks. I don't think you have to wait long to determine that as P2 trials will be underway "imminently", and ODD drugs have recently been bought for 2b US. Based off a peer analysis, that's still 4x initial return.
