I happen to adore Charles Dickens. He freely used words like "...ejaculated" on someone's verbal outburst (from 'Mendacious Cabby' in Pickwick Papers)
without that verbosity being branded as lewd as it is likely to be branded in today's "politically corrected social intercourse" nomenclature.
Happened to me personally, but that is too long a story to retell here.

Onwards to CA’s final day in court. Perhaps we can do some literary exercise, Dickensian style, in preparing a draft of a tribute to our legal team.
