    Investpro69,

Wow...you must have some great inside information.

I can't find anywhere any information about the specifics of Spookfish's technology, its real advantages Vs nearmap, cost to take prototype to commercial, its business roll-out plan let alone funds to bank-roll the 2-3 years of working capital that'll be necessary to get a reasonable foothold in the market: let alone positive cash flow.
There's no doubt that WSR have some good technical brains behind whatever they have; and I'm sure they will come up with a system that's technically very good. But break through....I don't think so. Otherwise they would have flagged this.

But you're missing the point. Its not so much about getting great digitals; its how you package and vertically integrate user friendly commercial application platforms.
Putting great free or cheap images out there wont change a thing for NEA.

I also admire your contrary view in universally accepted business basic tenets....That an underfunded, unproven start-up with an unproved product can knock off the established major who has a suit of commercially proven products, is very well funded with a great balance sheet and a very driven, if not aggressive CEO ?? NSR certainly doesn't, at this stage, have the resources for a 2-3 year fight so I'd expect them to need to fill the till several times over that period (= substantial dilution before value add). And don't forget, management seemingly have no objective in generating a cash flow positive business; their whole incentive is based on cumulative revenues. which even I could attain with only a smidge of re-churn.

I actually applaud and encourage start-ups; I do it for a living. But I just cant see where WSR ticks any of my boxes necessary for a start-up to be able to take on, and succeed in a 3-4 year campaign against an incumbent. Its been my experience that at least 95% of all start-ups grossly underestimate the time, resources and market/commercial challenges necessary to get a 'product to profit'.

So I'd be very interested if you could shed any light on WSR's plans and strategy to market and commercialise something, which at this moment, hasn't even been demonstrated.

    Cheers,
