Using a buy and hold strategy on the ASX in my opinion always needs to be monitored. In other words, imo no ASX stock is a buy and hold forever.

Even quality stocks can and have turned into absolute disasters and wiped out investors who have shown blind loyalty/faith that everything will turn out fine.
