Tell me, how often do companies start buy backs when their stock is soaring? Not too often. Buy backs mostly occur when the company thinks the shares are undervalued. And yes, an additional incentive is to keep the shares buoyant in a down market.
Thanks, though, for explaining a management action that is the usual thing to do where cash is available to take that action. But consider adding a bit of theory to your technicals.
