I do agree that there is a lot of trading that happens on the ASX like this where big players stack the sell side and try and good old fashioned tree shake. However this strategy doesn’t get you 9% short numbers, which is huge in a company doing a buy back and with such a small amount of retail investors. I heard a while ago that retail only makes 6% of the registry in which case the instos and management are not going to help the shorts cover that’s for sure. Looks like fireworks to me.
