That's from the investor/trader perspective. From an owner/corporate perspective, they're investing $30M into an asset they know very well [they run it], one that is currently selling at what they believe to be very reasonable prices.

So it's not a 2.9% gain... it's whatever they believe the true value of SRX versus what they're buying it for.

The share price gain or the EPS figure.. that's just icing on the cake.


When SRX was at the $30s and $40s... results from its major studies as reported would sure to disappoint, and that'd be understandable. But at the $12s to $16s, the market is nuts.

I mean, the results literally show that they're a better alternative to, from memory, at least two other current treatment. Not better in the overall survival, so that's not ideal... but provide higher quality of life etc.
