Oh Jesus get real. The buyback is not in place to increase the shareprice to make everyone happy. Thats the first thing to get right. The buyback is to benefit shareholders where a SP is so low as to be unrealistic. It only benefits shareholders down the track when the company gets back to profitability, if it does. A buyback is not a magic bullet where shareholders get to sell their shares at a good profit margin.

As far as Helmichs chart goes, just block him. Such a persistent down ramper, and Primer suggesting he knows something that no one else knows and the SP will be increasing by 20 cents by friday block him as well, dont know wnat floats his boat. Lets face it we wont ever get our money back for long term holders, but seriously we must be getting close to the bottom. AMP is not totally lost yet. Now is the time to buy, unlikey to go too far lower, but more upside from here. Its funny isnt it, when a SP is so depressed, everyone thinks that its just doomed, when the opinion should be its oversold. After all its not insolvent or weigjed down with debt. Hang in there.
